BIPP (Battering Intervention and Prevention Program)
The Battering Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP) is a specialized program for MEN that have used violent/abusive behaviors in their intimate partner or family relationships. The class is a specialized psychosocial educational program for men designed to bring about awareness of the effects violence/abuse in intimate partner or family relationships. As well become accountable and take responsibility for their participation in violent/abusive behavior(s).
The goals of BIPP are:
· To assume responsibility for their violent/abusive behaviors towards the victim.
· Develop an understanding of the effects of intimate partner violence on the victim, children and society.
· Learn non-abusive ways to communicate and resolve conflict without using power and control.
· Increase victim safety and eliminate intimate partner violence/abuse.
NO MORE VICTIMS
The class is 18-weeks in duration. The participant will attend a 2- hour class one a week. Progress reports will be email to probation, parole or court monthly. A completion certificate will be issued to the participate at the completion of the program.
CLASS IS CONDUCTED VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON:
VIRTUAL CLASSROOM REQUIREMENTS:
* Laptop, PC, Tablet or Cell Phone with a working
front facing camera and microphone
* Internet access
* Quiet place to focus and participate.
*Wearing a headset or earbuds are recommended
CLASS FEE:
$35.00 Intake/Orientation (one-time fee)
$30.00 weekly fee
HOW TO START CLASS
STEP 1:
Schedule a day and time for the intake/orientation virtually (in-person call for an appointment). Select from the dates and times provided below and pay the intake/orientation fee.
Virtual Participants: An "invite" to Join the Meeting will be emailed within 24 hours. You will receive a second email with instructions on how to prepare for the meeting and documents needed before the intake.
In-Person Participants Call for an appointment.
Bring the following documents and information:
*Picture of state DL/ID
*Court and/or probation/parole related documents
*Officer, Attorney, or Court Liaison name and email address (for monthly
progress reports).
Please be advised, when you select a date and time for the intake/orientation, that day and time is no longer available for others to select. When you pay the intake/orientation fee you are paying for that date and time and the completion of intake orientation. In life things come up and you will need to reschedule or cancel the appointment. In the case of the need to reschedule or cancel please read the policy below.
Intake/Orientation Reschedule/Cancellation Policy:
Reschedule or cancelation must be done 24 hours before appointment. If the appointment is not rescheduled or cancelled within 24 hours the intake/orientation fee will be forfeited and non-refundable. To schedule a new intake/orientation a new intake/orientation fee will be needed.
STEP 2: Complete intake/orientation:
Virtual Participants: Before intake/orientation email the following documents and information:

*Officer, Attorney, or Court Liaison name and email address (for monthly
progress reports).
STEP 3: Start class!
Virtual Participants
*An Invite to class will be emailed weekly to attend class.

In-Person Participants
*Arrive to the office on the assigned weekly day and time.
