Anger Management
The Anger Management class will enable the participant to:
· Learn to manage anger effectively.
· Stop violence or the threat of violence.
· Develop self-control over thoughts and actions.
· Receive support from others.
The class is on the Harris and Brazoria County Approved Provider list. The class is 12 hours in duration. The participant will attend a 1.5 hours weekly class for eight (8) weeks. A completion certificate will be issued to the participate at the end of their completed 12 hours.
THE CLASS IS CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY / REMOTELY and IN-PERSON:
Brazoria County Probation requires in-person classes.
(The instructor will conduct the class via video conference in the classroom and the students will participate in the class discussions, activities and complete worksheets from their homes via web conference).
REMOTE CLASSROOM REQUIREMENTS:
* Laptop, PC, Tablet or Cell Phone with a working front facing camera and microphone
* Internet access
* Quiet place to focus and participate.
*Wearing a headset or earbuds are recommended
HOW TO START CLASS
STEP 1: Pay the initial weekly class fee of $25.00, within 24 hours you should receive an email with the registration documents and instructions on how to prepare for the class and which apps to download.
STEP 2: Complete, sign and email back the registration documents and a Picture DL/ID.
STEP 3: You are all set to start class! Each Tuesday morning you will receive an "Invitation" via email to "Join the meeting". Click on "Join the Meeting" to enter the class at the scheduled time. Class day and time is Tuesday / 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
**Submit your class fee of $25.00 online before each weekly class session.
